Patients who have been diagnosed with Coeliac disease can obtain gluten free products through our pharmacy without a prescription. Depending on your sex and age you are allocated a monthly allowance of units. (a 400g loaf counts as 1 unit).
The service is free of charge to patients who do not pay for their prescriptions. For those patients who pay we recommend they purchase a pre-payment certificate at a cost of approximately £10 per month. This certificate will also cover any item prescribed by their GP during the year.
