Abington Pharmacy Ltd. is a family run business which has been serving the community since 1969, originally based in Birchfield Road East. In April 1996 the business moved to Beech Avenue, where we are today and in that time the growth of the business now means we employ 18 members of staff both full and part time.
Pharmacy has seen a lot of changes over the last 40 years, but principally our aim is to give added value service to our customers whether through the dispensing of their prescription or general healthcare advice. We work as a team made up of Pharmacy Counter Assistants, Dispensers, Technicians and there is always a Pharmacist available to offer advice and support to the team.
Being an independent pharmacy means we can always put the needs of our customers first.We offer services such as Stop Smoking support, Repeat prescription order and collection from local surgeries and any unwanted medicines can be returned to us for safe disposal. In addition to the many services we offer we have an extensive retail shop and staff are always happy to help.
